3 days until we move in!!!!!!

Hell week is in full force and the house is really starting to become a home!!! I can't believe that after two years of planning we are finally about to move into our dream home-it is unreal. So much has happened in the last week. The landscaping is done and all I can say is WOW! It looks like a resort. It exceeded all of my expectations and I cannot wait for the summer parties to start. The lighting in the house is all hung and I love every fixture. They finished laying the carpet today and it is super comfy- I think baby T will love crawling around on it. :) The plumbing is done and all of our appliances are in. So as you can see everything is slowly being checked off our list. The only major item we are waiting for is our handrail- we HAVE to have it to pass our final inspection to move in. I think with Chris' daily phone calls and my big pregnant belly he will make it happen. So please keep us in your prayers that we do pass on Friday and we do move in because we will officially be homeless if we dont. Our landlord has new tenants moving in right after this weekend!!

On the baby front- we are considered full term-37 weeks. She has been very active lately and the braxton hicks contractions are getting more and more frequent. But we tell her every night that we cant wait to meet her but she REALLY needs to wait until after next week so we can get moved and settled. After that I am going to give her an eviction notice that I am ready for her to come:) So if you live near us I will be walking and walking until she comes and want to join me just let me know!

Here are some updated photos...

35 weeks = 35 days left...will we be in the new house by then??

So today is week 35 of our pregnancy which means that there is only 35 days left until baby T's due date!!! Can you believe how quickly time is flying. So now my big stress is - will the house be done in time??? Well I have an answer YES!!! We are going to be moving in on the 24th...in two weeks!!! I am so excited because these nesting impulses are starting to take over and I NEED to get in the house and start putting things away. So now that we are just about two weeks away what is going on in the house? First, the electricians are there installing all of the lights, fans, plugs, etc. and wow do they look good. So many of the fixtures we did not get to see in person and ordered them online but I love all of them that I have seen. The texture guys are there finishing some touch up work so the painter can finish touching up the house. The landscapers are just about done with the yard-tomorrow our lawn is going in and I am going to pick the pots for the house. All of our doors and trim are up and ready to be touched up. The cabinets are all in and the countertops are just about there- hopefully by monday they will be done. Our closet just got organized and I cannot wait to be able to see all of my clothes, shoes, handbags!!! So we are on the final stretch and it looks like we are going to make it. Now we are just busy recruiting friends and family to help us move!! But here are some updated pics....
